What We Do For A Tune-Up:
Briggs and Stratton Special - Ask about the Protection Plus Program
- Ignition System:
- Replace spark plug
- Check firing voltage
- Older models may require points and condensor and timing adjustment
- Fuel System:
- Clean and/or replace the air filtering system
- Clean and/or replace the fuel filter
- Clean the carburetor if required
- Add clean, fresh fuel that is stabilized
- Lubrication System
- Drain oil
- Replace oil filter, if applicable
- Refill with recommended oil
- Lub all moving parts: wheels, steering, blades and control cables
- Other Service
- Sharpen blades
- Clean unit
- Check preformance
WHAT WE DO FOR A POWER TUNE-UP:
- In addition to the above, cylinder head will be removed and carbon
cleaned from head and piston and valve area.
WHAT WE DO FOR AN OVERHAUL:
- Complete disassembly of the engine, cleaning and inspection for worn
parts. All parts deemed necessary will be replaced including all gaskets
and seals as required. Charges will be based on time and materials.
